Dear Deepika Padukone, You truly are an inspiration…
If you’re all clueless who this is all about , let me tell you Deepika is considered among the most popular and high profile celebrities in india.
So i decided to put this post up on her very birthday. The portrait doesn’t have much depth though for I made this abour a year ago (little did i know about realism) . This is a picture (in fact, the movie poster itself) from her Indian epic drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali known as “Padmaavat”.
Movie facts :
- With a production budget of Rs. 2.15 billion (US$30 million), Padmaavat is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
- Padukone’s look features intricate jewellery weighing upto 3kg designed by Tanishq featuring a triple Borla, Mathapatti and Bajuband which are traditional ornaments worn by the Rajasthani women.
- The film became controversial during the production. Several Rajput caste organisations and its members had protested and later vandalised their film sets claiming that the film portrays the Padmavati, a Rajput queen, in bad light.
